Identity theft is serious crime,it can destroy your credit and ruin your good name, deter identity thieves by safe safeguarding your information. 1.shred your precious doc with personal info before you discard them 2.protect your ssn, dont carry in your wallet 3.dont give out personal info on the phone.through the email, unless you know you are dealing with 4 never click unsolicited email 5.dont use obvious password, like birth, mother maiden name or last 4 digit ssn 6.keep personal info in a secure place.
